New Site Campaign: Corporate Level Donation Options
Shaw Pit Bull Rescue (Shaw PBR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving abused, abandoned or neglected American Pit Bull Terriers. The rescue has helped find homes for over 150 adopt-a-bulls in the past five years.
Kenneth and Aimee Shaw, along with a handful of hard-working, dedicated volunteers, have run Shaw PBR on a small portion of their one-acre property in New Hope since 2012.
A recently acquired larger site, (6.5 acres), has the potential to be an amazing asset to - not only present and future adopt-a-bulls - but pot-bellied pigs, local dogs, and more!!
The plans for the Shaw PBR section of the new site include:
A big part of the vision is to open a pot-bellied pig sanctuary - Porkchop’s Phat Farm - named after their own 250 lb. pot-bellied pig, Porkchop. Pot-bellied pigs are quickly filling up shelters and rescues across the country due to unprepared or uneducated owners.
The final phase is to open a portion of the new site to the public by establishing a dog park that will be a great place for dogs, their owners and dog lovers to congregate, socialize and exercise.
While God has opened up a door for us to make this a possibility, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this project in several ways. First, you can help pray for us as we take on this task.
Second, you can support our fundraising efforts by donating building supplies, coupons or items for our online auctions; or by encouraging your employees to donate to our cause - and ‘matching’ their total donations... Every dime brings us one step closer.
Shaw PBR and Porkchop’s Phat Farm are both 501(c)3 non-profit charities, which means all donations are tax-deductible. Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, your support is greatly appreciated.
